Community Engagement
The Seattle propeller club supports local non-profits whose mission is in alignment with the mission of our organization. We support other Non-profit organizations in many ways, including CHARITABLE donations and promotion to our membership in our monthly newsletter or at our events. Seattle Sea Scouts
Sea Scouts provide a range of program opportunities for youth from 14-20 years old aboard the Spirit of Propeller.

Youth Maritime Training Association
YMTA supports school programs and associated youth organizations in Washington State focused on maritime education, training and experiences for students.
The Seattle Propeller Club contributes to YMTA’s annual scholarship program, designed to support students pursing a career in the maritime industry.

Seattle Seafarers Center
The Seattle Seafarers Center provides an opportunity for volunteers & interns to care for seafarers from around the world.
The Seattle Propeller Club has a longstanding relationship supporting the Mission to Seafarers.

The Steamer Virginia V Foundation
The Steamer Virginia V Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization and stewards of the national treasure, The S.S. Virginia V - the last operational Puget Sound Mosquito Fleet steamer.
In partnership with the Virginia V, the Seattle Propeller Club has hosted membership events aboard the Steamer Virginia V.

Salmon for Soldiers offers fishing events and opportunities designed to reduce stress, foster new relationships, and provide many hours of fun and relaxation for veterans.

Washington Maritime Federation
The Washington Maritime Federation is an association of associations, comprised of maritime organizations and business organizations who have come together to support the industry.
The Seattle Propeller Club supported the most recent Maritime Economic Impact Study sponsored by the Washington Maritime Federation and produced by McKinley Research Group.

Core Plus Maritime helps students prepare for career paths that span the globe and connects K-12 classrooms to the maritime industry.

Sound Experience is a Washington State-based nonprofit youth education organization that serves young people with on-the-water maritime and environmental education throughout the Puget Sound region.

At select events, the Seattle Propeller Club highlights a nonprofit organization. These highlights are promoted in the event’s marketing materials and include an opportunity to speak briefly before our members during the event.
